Sea La Shabby

Beware of renting places that don’t have reviews! We rolled the dice on this one because the online listing looked good and it is dog friendly. The set up for the dog is good with a spacious fenced in area, but the grass was 2 feet tall, giving the place a shabby look. We did enjoy the nice big family room that had plenty of light and a nice comfortable sofa. But everything else in the house was dollar store discount variety. We all agreed that the dining room chairs were the most uncomfortable we had ever sat on. The plates and bowls were just as bad.The place has three bathrooms, but they only saw a fit to stock two of the bathrooms with complementary toilet paper. No soap could be found anywhere. The bedrooms were were the worst. Mattresses were flimsy and soft. Our bedroom had four cheap and only two pillowcases! One of the bedroom walls was stained with red wine. This rental management company really needs to get its act together. Obviously I would not stay there again and I would not recommend it to anyone. And an important note is that beach access is not great. It’s a quarter mile or so walk to the trail that leads to the beach but there’s no parking so you have to haul all your stuff down there. Some people take their things to the trailhead by car and drop them off, but you have to go back and park and walk back which is quite a hassle.
