Very quiet room at back. Breakfast pastry and hot drink so don’t stay expecting a full hot breakfast. Reception closes at 2000 so you will be given a key for the back which works very well. There is parking too which could be useful although Salzburg is very walkable.

Gorgeous building in perfect location! Only one block from the water, 3 min walk to Schloss Mirabell and 15 min or so walk from the main station. Salzburg is incredibly walkable and Villa Carlton is perfectly situated, removed from the main touristy area. Smooth check-in, very friendly and welcoming staff, clean and very spacious room with everything you might need. Loved our stay and will stay there again next time we are in Salzburg. Thank you!

Nice very spacious room. Helpful staff, good location. Breakfast is disappointing but it’s clear what you get when you book, but it might stop me having a repeat stay. The Artwork is quite something, possibly curated by a teenager, but it kinda adds to the eccentricity of the place.

The staff was amazing, the hotel has 3 floors and has an elevator, good breakfast (pastries, juice and coffee). Overall it was a very good experience and the location is beautiful. Parking was very easy to find. Something extra I enjoyed a lot was that they have a very nice set of soaps and lotions that they also sell in the hotel.

We loved Hotel Villa Carlton! The space is beautiful and the room was quite large compared to other hotels we stayed at during our trip to Austria. Super close to the river, which makes for a beautiful walk into the old town!
