I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property or the owner. Shane was incredibly responsive and answered every question we had right away. The location is unbeatable—this 2 bed/1 bath home is only a two‑minute walk to the Fort Sam base. If you’re attending graduation or need early access, you simply make a right, then make a left, and you’re at the gate almost immediately.When we arrived, the home was spotless. The appliances are modern, the floors are beautifully renovated, and the shower is gorgeous. The lighting throughout the home is excellent, and the beds are very comfortable. The house also smelled fresh and clean the moment we walked in.The owner truly thinks of everything. He provides essentials such as Q‑tips, cotton balls, shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, towels, sheets, kitchen utensils, cups, pots, pans, and more. You only need to bring your own beverages, food and seasonings if you plan to cook. The home has central air and heat, and the neighborhood is extremely quiet. You can also drive on the back roads to reach The Pearl (9 minutes) or the River Walk (12 minutes) with ease. Without traffic, you can reach SAT airport in 12 minutes.If I’m ever in the area again, our family will contact Shane again.

The house was clean and inviting. It was really charming. We loved that it was pet friendly. It had a nice yard for the dog to be safe. The house had everything we needed. The location was amazing for going to The Alamo and the Riverwalk. That was exactly what we wanted. We felt very comfortable during our stay, Check in and check out went smoothly. If we ever come back to the area again, we would stay here again. We loved our stay.

The home is exactly as described. Hubby was a bit concerned about the area but knowing the area myself, I knew it was a safe area. It is a lovely, comfy little place to stay.

The house itself was very nice. A nice remodel of an old home. A comfortable house to stay in. There was a strong cat smell in the house. We were unable to connect with the host. We did get one message from him with the key code so we were able to get any the front doon. We had trouble with the Expedia website. No internet, instruction for the house, check out instruction... We got caught in a circle of being locked out of both VRBO and Expedia and unable to communicate. It was very frustrating. Don't think we'll be finding a place to stay with either agency again.

We only stayed one night while visiting family, but this house was the cutest! It was furnished so comfortably and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit San Antonio.
