Renters beware*** The host attempted to have me pay her outside of the VRBO platform. When I declined because I could not verify her identity and preferred to keep the reservation through VRBO she confirmed that was ok and could accommodate my stay. However, the day that I was supposed to check in she did not send me check in instructions and then said she must cancel my stay that same day. It felt very petty and left me in a bad situation of finding a hotel room last minute in a fully booked area. VRBO support was very helpful however I absolutely DO NOT recommend renting from this host.

I’m going to start with the pros 1. Close to gaslamp 2. People in the building were respectful 3. Owners were responsive 4. View on the 32th floor was beautiful 5. We were allowed to check in early ( we didn’t but the owner advised me of the early availability) Now I’m going to talk about what we didn’t like much. 1. Apartment didn’t feel that much clean. 2. In the listing, it doesn’t disclose that you have to pay $40 a night to park your car in the premises. 3. For some reason, in one of the bathrooms, the shower didn’t work, just the bath tub, and my brother just wanted to shower, so he had to shower in our side. 4. It felt like the owners live in that apartment, so there’s a bunch of things around. Like half way used candles (like a quick example) 5. We had to use the almost done body wash that it was left in the bathroom, as there was nothing else (like mini or individual body wash/ shampoo, etc) left specifically for the guests. Therefore, it was a good place to stay close to gaslamp but it didn’t wow us, we just felt like for the price, it could’ve been better.

The location was good and the hosts were warm. However, it would have been helpful to know ahead of time that parking required an additional fee, since it’s listed as an included amenity. The space doesn’t feel like a standard, neutral short-term rental, as there are many personal items throughout the home (including medical items). I also had concerns about cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms. The linens, towels, furniture, and bathroom products could be improved, as they don’t match and are lower quality than expected for this price point. On the positive side, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable.

Amazing condo! Great location, incredible views of the Coronado bridge and the ocean. Host was responsive and helpful. All the amenities you would expect from a luxury vacation rental. Would definitely recommend!

The rental was really beautiful and was very easy to traverse to local Gaslamp restaurants. The renter is a pleasure to book from and I’d happily book again! Very accommodating and makes an effort to make sure your stay is stress free! I would highly recommend!

Absolutely loved it. All though it was a little tight but was able to manage. Prime location. The place has everything you need. Highly recommend this place. Best part was the view!!!!
