The room was large, the bed comfortable and the linens clean. The guy who checked us in was nice and efficient. My only comment would be about the shower… It was just awkward. You have to get into the shower to turn it on which means you’re standing in the cold water while it gets warm, and you had to turn a handle all the way around in a full circle even to get to the warm water, it was just strange. Don’t know what can be done about that but we both found it a little challenging. It wouldn’t keep us from staying again, just something worth noting.

Parking is kind of far feo. The front desk was inconvenient. During my check in, the person was friendly but I then went to the front desk and new person did have good customer service. They offer continental breakfast but I couldn’t get coffee because it doesn’t start until 7am. And have to leave at 6:30am. They was was a coffee maker and free coffee packets in the room but they didn’t provide water. I would think twice before staying here again.

The check in was only construction workers and it was a really long line with only one person at the front desk. The room itself was not clean at all. I found dirt and trash all over. The bed had hair and dog hair all over it. The room is near a freeway and you can hear all the cars. The pillows feel like they are stuffed with cotton balls.

We had a nice 2 night stay for our recent strip to Poway. The room was spacious and freshly painted. The shower had great water pressure. The breakfast was enjoyable and had most of the usual options. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. This was a good location for our business in this area located very close to the freeway.

I rarely leave a low rating but I reached out to the Management 3 times about an issue we had was told the General Manager would get back to me. Then nothing. Although the room was nice and we thought clean, we had a cockroach problem. I truly did not want to blast them but am so shocked that no one reached out. Very disappointing. They were German Roaches which are very difficult to eradicate. Beware

The room was unfortunately dirty but even worse was the fact that I could clearly hear the people in the room next to me because there was a very flimsy door between my room and theirs *inside* my room. I could literally hear them talking during the day and snoring when they were asleep. If you value your privacy I recommend staying elsewhere. I was so uncomfortable because of this and regretted choosing to spend a bit less for this room vs others that were slightly more expensive.
