The people were extremely nice; however, the parking situation was confusing and frustrating to figure out how to use the discount code for the garage. Also, I may have missed this, but the rooms are very small.

Beau Hotel - San Diego Gaslamp District

The Beau Hotel is clean, conveniently located and very efficient. The location is central to all of the Gas Lamp and Port activities. It was easy to park my vehicle and just walk around town to see sights and attractions. Hotel Management seems very attentive and genuinely interested in making guests feel welcome. Great stay, I would definitely book this location again for future travels to the San Diego area.

About the only thing I'd complain about is that the bathrooms are at an angle and the A/C is kind of weak. Otherwise, it's a great location from the con center and the House of Blues.

BEST HOTEL STAFF EVER!

The hotel was clean and convenient to the Convention Center (the purpose of my visit was to attend Comic-Con), the staff were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and nice! The food at the restaurant was delicious! The rates were more than reasonable, especially considering that it was Comic-Con. The only things I could wish for that weren’t there would be a chair or two in the room and an elevator in the hotel. (My mobility is much reduced these days.) Just know that there is no elevator before making your reservation, and if you don’t absolutely NEED an elevator, book your stay here. You will enjoy it immensely!

This is a historic boutique hotel in downtown San Diego that has recently been beautifully refurbished. If you prefer character and beauty over sterile generic chains, this is the spot for you. It is within walking distance to anything you could need down town including the convention center and the marina.

It was our 4th visit to San Diego and found this boutique hotel last minute on Hotels.com It was overall a great experience. Friendly staff, cute boutique hotel with a nice speak easy feel restaurant in the hotel lobby. Very clean room, free Starbucks coffee and Teas close to rooms in halls with a classic San Diego feel. Breakfast from the hotel restaurant was delicious. Highly recommend trying a stay here.
