Explore the La Manga peninsula, often referred to as the paradise between two seas. The historic harbour city of Cartagena is also worth a visit. Nature lovers should not miss the regional parks of Calblanque and Arenales y Salinas de San Pedro del Pinatar, Monte de las Cenizas (The Cinder Mountain) and Pico del Águila. If you are interested in aeroplanes, you should visit the flying festival in May.
