Edward and his wife were very accommodating and friendly. Our stay was short, but was a clean comfortable roof over our heads for the 8 hours we were there. Had an early morning flight, Edward fit our family of 5 into his vehicle with all of our bags and drove us to the airport in the early morning. Would definitely consider coming back for a future stay.

We did a short overnight stay after late flight in. Host was wonderful for communication, pickup, and transfer. Room was comfy, clean and cozy. There is some noise from airplanes and traffic, but we slept well. Great in room coffee, but we left too early to try breakfast. Recommend for wonderful hosts, nice room and airport location

Must stay!

We needed a place to stay over for the night in between flights and they were so hospitable! Went out of the way to take us to Denny’s and the pharmacy! Everything was clean and ready with great coffee!! Clean water! Would stay here again!!

Edward and family was a quaint getaway if San Jose! The room was very clean and modern. It was conveniently located next to the main strip in San Jose with lots of good restaurants within walking distance. The only negative this about the location is that the proximity to the airport makes it kind of noisy with the planes taking off and landing. Edward the owner was very nice and helpful. He even let me park in his personal garage since my vehicle was too big for the parking space provided with the room. They even offered a delicious breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, fruit, and coffee which they prepared and brought to our room for us. We appreciated the friendly and personal service that Edward provided.

Edward is fantastic. All the reviews are accurate, it is loud because it's near the airport, but Edward communicates well and picked us up from the bus station for a fee. A much better option than a taxi or Uber. A good place to stay if you need to catch an early flight the next day.

We received an excellent service from Edward. Understandably, being so close to the airport, the noise from planes landing and taking off was loud but besides this, the place was perfect. We definitely recommend Edward and familia for short term stays.

Awesome stay

Edward was very communicative & an excellent host concerned about our satisfaction at all times. Beautiful and well accommodated unit. Area was a little loud but running the bedroom ac drowned out the noise. Easy transport from Edward to the airport. We look forward to staying with Edward & his family again,

It was perfect for a one night stay before we flew out of San Jose. For a couple of extra dollars they provided a transaction shuttle to the airport. The owner was super nice. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend staying here.

Very nice, clean, two-bedroom apartment located within 2 miles of airport. Edward was great at communicating and answering questions. Beds were very comfortable. Secure parking. Only downside was the noise at night from the street.

Great location within 2 miles of SJO airport. Very cute, clean apartment with secure parking. Very comfortable beds, nice hot water. Edward was very communicative and helped answer all of our questions. The only downside was it was very noisy at night with street noises.

Such a lovely start to our vacation in Costa Rica. Edward picked us up, helped us find a healthy takeout meal and took us back to a lovely little apartment that was perfect for getting our bearings before heading to the coast. So close to the airport, no need to navigate San Jose. Great start to the trip!

Great airport hotel for a family!

Great hotel! Our family of 5 had all the space we needed in the apartment, plus having a kitchen was a plus. It was super clean and had amazing hot water. The a/c in the bedrooms was great and there was a fan in the living room. It’s within easy walking distance of several rental car places (including Adobe, which we used), several grocery stores, and multiple restaurants. We ate at Cevicheria Costa Rica which doesn’t look like much, but the food was great. The owner of the hotel was super friendly and helpful. He even drove us to the airport at 5:30am for a small additional fee. The airport is only 5 minutes away. You might want earplugs because the planes are loud, but that’s not a surprise. Highly recommend!

Edward and Familia Inn was a great place to stay. Edward is the most gracious of hosts transporting to and from the airport and taking us on an excursion to the Starbucks coffee plantation. The apartment was spotless, the beds were comfortable and the amenities were great.
