COuntry Inn a gem

Always a nice place to stay even for an older hotel. The staff is wonderful and always taking care of us as clients. Good breakfast buffet and the management is top tier. two thumbs up to Oscar, Melissa and Dyana!

Stayed here the first night in Costa Rica and the last night. Hotel was very clean and the staff was amazing! Breakfast was great! Pool area very nice with all the palm trees, plants and beautiful birds. The shuttle service was prompt and our driver Louis was really nice. Every employee we met at the hotel was top notch. I will stay here again for sure.

This was my second time staying at this hotel . The first time we had an excellent stay as this property is perfect for a short overnight stay or so I thought. I am a smoker and the main reason I stayed here was due to the private balconies the first time I booked this hotel in March smoked in my balcony which was by the pool without any issues , the second time i stayed in April I was thinking I would have the same outcome as the hotel breakfast was excellent and we had a very pleasant time in March . Oh boy was I wrong for I was harrased by the security office which made it his full time job to basically spy on me and my other guest. I wasn’t aware this was a non smoking hotel since my first stay I want to make it clear that I have never smoked inside a hotel in the and no hotel allows to smoke inside the second time I was told this was non smoke hotel and the security officer made us walk outside the gate to go smoke when San Jose is not the safest city at this time. The security guard had down packed every person that even walked into our room as we have family here and we one of mh cousins decided to stay since we had a 2 bedroom suite and it was just me and one guest. If they would have had the same energy and restrictions on my first time I would have never gone back. The security guard was spying on the cameras on the back to see our every move . It felt like I was on a supervised parole visit instead of vacation.

The hotel was very close to the airport. It had a few restaurants close by and a fantastic restaurant on site also great breakfast. The hotel staff were all great. Louis the shuttle driver was awesome, Kevin at the front desk fantastic. Every employee we met on the property was super nice and welcoming. The pool area with all the palm trees, birds was a very relaxing. They also had a great guitar player at the restaurant on night. Very nice. Made my stay extra special. Next time I'm come to Costa Rica I will stay here again. Pura Vida!!

Great place for a reasonable price

Close to airport with free shuttle, great buffet breakfast, very comfortable bed, a/c and bathroom reliable (2nd floor had a couple of minutes wait for hot water but then no problems), pool area gorgeous with nice loungers and also shaded seating, restaurant a bit pricey but very good food and cocktails.
