Overall, the location and the hotel itself are beautiful. The main reason for the average rating is due to a few factors. First, the road leading to the property is in very poor condition—having a 4x4 vehicle is essentially required, as there is a real risk of getting stuck or damaging a standard vehicle.
Additionally, it was disappointing that despite paying $240 per night, breakfast was not included. To make matters worse, when we attempted to order breakfast, we were informed that the kitchen was temporarily closed, which required us to go elsewhere. This made the stay feel somewhat overpriced for what was offered.
There were also a few bugs in the room and bed, which wasn’t a major concern given the property’s proximity to the ocean and is understandable in that setting.
That said, the location is absolutely stunning—the beach is beautiful, and the view from the room was incredible. Overall, however, the experience felt more like staying in an Airbnb-style room, with minimal amenities or services included.
