The room was very clean and inviting the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was absolutely amazing and clean and the bar and grill upstairs is good food and convenience . would definitely recommend..

Clean room, quiet, next to the beach. The staff is really friendly and helpful. They provide beach towels also. Had hot water also. You can see old San Juan from the area. Have a restaurant there also. The price is a bit high I would say. As the rooms are not very modern. Also the water has that smell like in all PR. But maybe I would rate 4.8 no option for that,

The location with the view was amazing. The morning sunrise was beautiful with the castle across the bay with a beautiful view. We missed the sunset but it was probably great from the back of our room. The quiet and private beach on the backside of our room was great. It has a good location away from things and close to the park down the street. The restaurant on the property was packed that night and made parking a challenge. It was overall a good stay.

We stayed here for two nights before a cruise. It took us an hour and 10 minutes to take an Uber to get to our cruise port. It was very inconveniently located. Very limited food selections although the restaurant itself was nice. The area around the hotel was very rundown, and there were extremely loud parties on the so-called private beach. If you’re going on a cruise, you should definitely stay somewhere else.

The room looks recently renovated and was clean. This is a motel-style hotel (entering from the outside). Our room was facing the back (beach-side) so it was quiet, only the sound of the waves! We spent 6 nights there and it was secluded with a few places to eat nearby and great views on Old San Juan on the other side of the Bay. However, one absolutely needs a car and it was no problem parking at the hotel. The staff was responsive and courteous. We really enjoyed our stay.

Aqua’s staff was exceptional! The private beach and pool were fantastic! We were able to fit our family of 5 in a family room. The only thing we encountered was due to the humidity- the room had a slight scent of mildew. Keeping the fan on in the bathroom and the A/C helped with that. Overall Great Experience!

While the staff is very nice, the rooms are absolutely disgusting. The couch in the room had stains everywhere on it. There was a dried contact lens and hair all over the floor between the beds. Both beds had hair in the sheets and had crumbs/dirt in them. One of our pillows had lipstick and mascara smudges on it. Clearly fresh linens are not used in between guests.
