Don Rafa was such a great place to stay! It was very clean! When I checked in the valet guy took my bags to my room for me. Everything was nice and clean. Lots of shopping nearby and restaurants. The hotel Smells really good and you can buy the scent they use. The staff is very courteous. Every morning they text you to see if you need housekeeping or anything.. I definitely would stay here again! Thank you Don Rafa staff for making my first trip to Puerto Rico great!

I had an amazing experience at this hotel from start to finish. The staff made sure everything was perfect—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. From check-in to check-out, the service was consistently outstanding. The place is absolutely stunning, sexy and artsy look. I prefer this kind of small spaces than huge hotels. One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. There was a great variety of options, from fresh fruit and pastries and coffee although I wish they had hot food. Everything was delicious, and it was such a great way to start the day without having to leave the hotel. The location is incredibly convenient—close to shops, restaurants, and good spots, which made exploring the area easy. Whether you're in town for business or vacation, you really can’t beat the accessibility. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Clean rooms, top-notch service, and thoughtful extras like the free breakfast really set this hotel apart. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Excellent service and we enjoyed staying on the property. Pool is more off sitting pool not for swimming. Beach access is near by as well as a grocery just a couple doors down. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

San Juan Gem

This was a girlfriends trip to San Juan and everyone's first visit. We all wanted our own spaces but have a communal space. I was looking for an Airbnb as a lower cost alternative to separate rooms at a hotel on Condado beach. The Don Rafa was quaint and just as beautiful as the pictures. It isblocated in the western side of Miramar district and a 15 min walk to Condado and a variety of restaurants were next door or a short walk. A grocery was around the corner so we were well stocked. The staff were incredibly helful and frinedly. It was a short Uber ride to old San Juan. I would definitely consider going back for another stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Don Rafa hotel. The staff was phenomenal. The room was beautiful. We had only two notes-a dresser in the room would’ve been useful. We managed to get by with an extra suitcase stand but more drawer space would’ve been welcome. The only other note is if you are on the street side, the windows are quite thin and it sounds as though they are open when loud noises go by. It was not a make or break situation and we definitely would return given the opportunity.
