1) Our problem started with the check-in. The person checking us in was very unfriendly, and borderline rude. Even though we had made a paid reservation almost 2-3 months in advance, she kept acting like she was doing us a favor by trying to find us a room.
2) The AC in the room was very loud and kept drowning out conversation and sound from TV. You would realize how loud it was when it would recycle and turn off for short periods of time!
3) The door between the bathroom sink and the shower is a weird, heavy-wood sliding door which is hard to slide/maneuver.
4) Breakfast: While the breakfast itself was good, the entire dining area was a mess. Firstly, none of the food items and coffee dispensers were labeled. There was no one there who was monitoring supplies and restocking. Food items would often run out and you would have to keep looking for someone to get them to replenish the items. A few of the iems (oatmeal for example), just ran out and they had none to replenish! And no, this was not towards the closing hours for breakfast. There was no one there to clean the tables as people finished eating and left. At one point I had to go complain to the front desk about this. I was told to feel free to sit in the regular/non-dining areas!
All in all, a very disappointing experience. As Hyatts go, this one is mediocre at best. There is clearly a lack of effective management at this place. Needless to say, will not return to this place and do not recommend,
