Could have been so nice....

The room I reserved was not available, so they put us in a smaller room. Multiple parts of the resort were under construction, which meant certain areas were inaccessible and there was constant noise. At least one elevator was always out of service. They attempted to charge me for things they said would be free. I could go on, but it's not worth my time.

Pleasant stay, very convenient location and beautiful beach to relax on. The staff was great, always accommodating, especially Jimmy at the Lobby Bar. Like some had mentioned, the music/noise from the club at nights can keep some light sleepers up for sure. And the lobby bar was being renovated as well as other portions of the hotel so that added to the noise levels. If you can get passed all the noise, this place is for you.

Waiting 2 hours past check in time for our room, hair dryer wasn’t working in room, asked for a replacement twice, never received it. Shower trickled water, friends who stayed in another room didn’t have that issue with shower. All in all would not return.

Disappointed experience, had high hopes.

Hotel stay was good. For the cost of the hotel there were a few areas of cleanliness in the room which could have been better. We book this hotel with the thought that there were balconies in the room. (noted picture and verbiage on web site) Don't be fooled as there are not balconies. We were looking through dirty glass at the ocean. It felt like we were in a fish bowl. The windows were screwed down so you could not even open it up for fresh air. Very disappointed. We like to get air flow and hear the waves, but not in this hotel. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food reasonable priced. The main area for dining was under construction and therefore could not dine ocean front. Again dissappointed.

The bathrooms are in shambles. The bathroom by the beach had only one stall that locked and the bathroom by the bar I saw a woman get locked in. They jad to call several staff members to get her out. The room shower was terrible. The door didn't shut and everytime you'd shower, the bathroom would flood. The pool looks very dirty. La Concha had everything we needed- beach right in front with chairs and umbrellas, bars and bathrooms. You also had the restaurant for food. The pools were all very nice and staff was amazing. The bars were all very nice and the daily mixology class was fun. The location made it great to walk to restaurants and bars all around us. The casino was also fun. I would definitely recommend this property

The staff were amazing here. Especially Joel at the valet services, he is top notch! The staff make this place truly enjoyable, it is clean and safe. Prices for food/drink are expensive but thats what you get in this area and similar to other parts. Highly recommend going across the street for some of the small places to eat like the taco place directly across or Kane. Also walk down to the lagoon and check for manatee!
