wonderful beach location

the hotel is not exactly luxury digs, but it is comfortable enough. We had a comfortable bed and a large balcony looking out onto the sea (yes, there was a road between the hotel and the sea). We had issues with Wi-Fi in our room. It could be a bit frustrating. The other issue with our room (24) is that it was quite close to the restaurant. This could be loud in the evening.

My husband and I stayed two nights here. Our hosts were very gracious and accommodating. The room was clean and smelled nice. They also supplied chairs and beach towels. Location was excellent to beach, rainforest and kiosks. I would definitely recommend and stay there again. Very nice people, locally owned.

A nice hotel

Luquillo Sunrise is good bargain. The beach is beautiful, although the water is often rough. From the hotel, it is easy to reach El Yunque National Forest and other attractions in eastern Puerto Rico. I plan to visit this hotel again.

Right across from the beach. There's restaurants within five minute walk. However at night there's a lot of loud music from cars passing by. The hotel provides snacks and fruits in the office and ahs a outdoor foot wash to wash the sand off. There's McDonald's. Walgreens and a laundromat within a short driving distance.

I stayed on the second floor room 24, the same room with the mini fridge with a sound when you try to open it. It was clean and it has a stunning view of the ocean. The staff were kind but the marijuana odor at the lobby was uncomfortable.

Great service…great views

Awesome stay… we stayed on 3rd floor #34 (no elevator) AC was amazing… we need that due to my wife’s hot flashes… front desk was super nice… they lend you chairs and towels for the beach. Close to several spots we wanted to visit… yunque, Los kioscos, balnearios. Ohh and the restaurant was great… they only open on weekends I believe.

Inside the room was very clean, and comfortable. But the neighborhood seemed a little sketchy. The property does have a big gate. Snacks for breakfast were some coffee, packaged cookies, Twinkies, etc. Main thing was that it was clean and safe, but surroundings are not very well lit. During the day it is a great view of the beach!

We had a million dollar view. Staff was super nice. It needs updating. Any hotel by the water will show signs of mother nature taking a hit on them. However i loved the view of the ocean, which makes up for it. My sleep was excellent. The bed was super comfy. They gave us chairs,towels and an umbrella at no charge with was a bonus. I would definitely want to come back.
