Great hotel, lackluster food and drinks

The hotel is beautiful, rooms are spacious. We would stay here again but we wouldn't spend much time dining at the hotel. Poor food quality, small drinks and generally slow service.

Check in was a disaster . We had to check in a day late due to inclement weather . Communicated with the hotel what our issue was and that we would be checking in a day late . Front desk attendant said they made a note of it , just for us to arrive and have no room already set for us . They ended up putting us in a handicap suite that had stains on the floor , a phone that didn’t work , and housekeeping that only visited our room once the entire trip . It’s very inconvenient to have to walk to the front desk every time we needed new towels . The hotel was also not willing to accommodate our stay on the last day due to the inclement weather pushing our trip back . We called 48 hours prior to adjust the room and was told it would be honored but upon arrival it wasn’t , forcing us to have to find another hotel to go to for the last day of our trip . Overall , the stay wasn’t all that . The bar and pool areas are ok , service was entirely too slow . It should never take 30 minutes for a drink to be made when the bar isn’t even full . The only person who really helped us out was JC , our waiter . He was quick and super helpful the entire trip . He should definitely be in management because he was a problem solver for us ! Overall , I don’t think we’ll be back .

The lobby and common areas of the hotel are very nice. The location is good as it is close to the airport, beach, and restaurants. The room itself was just ok. Smelled kind of musty and stale. The shower was terrible because it’s not fully closed in so water sprays all over the bathroom floor. Rooms need to be updated and cleaned more thoroughly. Review your bill carefully before checking out.

Overall the property itself was great. Unfortunately our room had a little damage to it. It smelled and felt humidid, even with the AC on. Plus there was Central Air issues because the AC would automatiaclly drop on its own, making the room colder while sleeping. The pool was amazing and getting to lunch or dinner options even better. The beach is walking distance, with an amazing vibe. Great location to get to different sites and airport.

Nice Stay

Nice hotel. It was quiet and the room was comfortable and well-spaced out. The location was good. Short walk to the beach. They give you chairs that have straps on the back so you can put them on like back packs when you go. Drinks at the hotel are pricey. I'll add this next part as someone on doing another review mentioned so I'll verify it. They charge an extra $40 per day as a resort fee. This can be used towards food or drinks but you still paid for it. It does not carry over to the next day so if you forget and don't go get drinks or food, oh well. For price reference we got 2 pina colada's which were $16 ea. After you tip and tax you spent the $40. You can find cheaper elsewhere. Plenty of restaurants around. We didn't rent a car this time. There really isn't much site seeing in this part of San Juan. All the site seeing is in Old San Juan and you're probably not walking that far. There are plenty of Ubers around for that sort of thing if you didn't rent a car.

The things we liked about this property was the room was comfortable and clean, the shower was amazing, and the staff was excellent. The things we didn't like was there is a loud fan that runs constantly that you can't turn off and the breakfast buffet was constantly out of food. It's convenient to the airport and has a nice little pool. Would stay here again.

The hotel was newly renovated and the service was great Even though we had to walk 3 blocks to the beach it was still very good They were very accommodating to our needs and breakfast was a plus Pool was fun for kids and adults and bar and food serve was great

I was really scared at first because of the mildew and mold smell everyone was saying but it didn’t have that at all, the place was clean and organized and friendly for first time people traveling. Just watch out for the hidden fees it was a 40 dollar destination fee and then a 50 dollar fee (that gets returned) for no reason I was very confused and There was only the check out guy that was a bit rude but besides that it was good

The hotel was pleasant in all. Easy transportation everywhere in town. We were surprised by the 40 dollar nightly destination fee, we got the information about that few days the departure, we did not know anything about when we booked the room . :(
