I had an extremely disappointing experience with Rooftop Guest House. I booked a 3-night stay through Expedia and arrived on the scheduled day, but there was absolutely no one at the property. I tried calling multiple times, left messages, and got no response at all. Even Expedia attempted to contact them on my behalf and couldn't reach anyone. Because no one ever showed up to check me in, I had no choice but to find another hotel for the three nights. Despite the fact that I arrived as planned and followed all instructions, I was still charged $467. 1 opened a case with Expedia, and they also confirmed they still cannot get in touch with the property. Based on my experience, this place is completely unresponsive and unreliable. I never even got to stay there, yet I was charged anyway. I strongly recommend avoiding this property until they demonstrate that they actually communicate with guests and honor their reservations.

The rooftop has a very nice sitting area. The parking is convenient. The room was clean and functional. The host was very responsive and was extremely considerate in pre-warning us that the AC unit was not operating properly. The bigger issue was the plumbing as the toilet could not be flushed without overflowing, or having water back up into the shower.
