The hotel lobby is beautifully situated with many lounging/seating áreas. The bar is very nice and welcoming. The staff is super friendly and professional. The pool area, the food bar, the proximity to the beach and accommodations for guests and the quiet luxury gave an all inclusive vibe. I stayed in a King suite with the city view and I loved my room. It is so spacious, very clean updated no weird smells, I thought I wouldn’t like the city of view but I actually loved it if I had one Mark on this hotel it would be that it is absolutely freezing in the common areas, but I noticed that everywhere that I went they take AC very seriously in Puerto Rico Haha. I truly have no complaints about this hotel and would absolutely stay here again.

I come here annually for the anniversary of my father’s death who is buried in barceloneta. This is the first time I have experienced a horrible stay. The team at the front desk is not as accommodating as it use to be. That is what kept me coming back. My family and I experienced flight delays and ended up waiting in the lobby for 4 hours without any assistance in accommodations. I also got a charge at 2am for 100 dollars while I was sleeping that was explained as “additional incidentals”. For a pool bar purchase. As soon as I checked out they ran an additional 57 charge on top of the 100 dollars so I will not be coming back to this resort again as this was already a hard time visiting for the anniversary of my father and to experience a lack of customer service was unfortunate.

6 night stay week of June 8th in an Executive Suite ocean front. We’ve traveled to Puerto Rico many times since the early 90’s. First time here. Mostly positive and nice, maybe not as cohesive resort as we had hoped. Pros: 5 miles from airport, great location, nice sandy beach, beach chairs/umbrellas/tables setup complimentary, updated lively open lobby, two pools, complimentary towels, beach access locked at night, staff helpful, easy walk to restaurants and convenience stores, nearly all the staff were very friendly to us, loved the mats and steps to and from the beach. Cons: Beach here is a bit choppy with a lot of sand churn. No one had a link to all the events. Post a large daily QR code in multiple areas. Outlet beside the bed was partially hidden. Very dim rooms Door to bathroom was frosted glass so a light lit up the whole bedroom Our teen used the pull out sofa…horrible mattress and squeaky! We booked through Expedia so resort fees had to be paid at the hotel. We never saw nor heard anything extra for Bonvoy members. Need a place to hang wet bathing suits and items to dry. “Weed” was openly being sold and smoked on the beach in front of Marriott security, staff & lifeguards. Constant lifeguard whistle all week motioning people away from the rocks…how about a sign instead or marked off area? Concierge needs an update on things to do in Puerto Rico. Pool cabanas should be removed. Get better wrist bands that slide on/off not just tighten.

I’ll be happy to say Marriot in SJ is a great place to bring the kids and the family!! Staff will great you as soon as you hit the front door no question about it. The check in is fast and informative. Rooms are clean, no this is broken! If you have kids come here and security is observant with kids! Book your room here!

The staff was amazing!!! The service was impeccable. Beach staff and pool staff was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be coming back to this resort. Highly recommend.

The property was older but was being well maintained. We had an issue with a leaky faucet. Maintenance was there with in the hour to make the repair.

This is the kind of hotel you go to relax! Family friendly and staff is very nice and helpful. Only thing I can say they need improvement on is the smell. It smells a bit humid or moldy.

We really did enjoy our stay at the San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino. The food was great, the drinks were great, and the staff was great. The location is beautiful and overall we had a good time. However, the biggest downside of our stay was the housekeeping. We stayed for four nights and our room was only cleaned once. On the last night, we had to speak with a manager just to get fresh towels, water, and coffee. That really affected our experience. In addition, some of the gym equipment was out of service, and the pool area was noticeably dirty at night. Despite these issues, we still liked the hotel and would consider staying again. But for this visit, we’re giving it a 3 out of 5.

Everything was great with the property! It was great for my family! The beach was excellent and you just walk right out to it. Also, the pool and waterslide was so great for our family. The only issue was that there was a lot of construction just outside the hotel and the sidewalks were closed. However, they did have staff to assist with crossing the street.
