Sorry, no offense to the hotel, but the area of Hayward and Oakland- the area needs to be cleaned up of it's crime, the first thing I noticed as I boarded the shuttle to the car rental facility was to watch your back and not leave anything in your car. Really, I lived in Chicago, and even there I never came across such a warning. But the hotel, poor service, staff - non English literate, Staff at the front desk were polite, got to give them credit for that. There were kids running around upstairs. Had a slight feeling that this hotel also was a home to some low income tenants. Just my word of caution, when coming out here do your research and find a after location to stay in.

When I first got there I saw the hallway walls were pretty damaged and dirty and there was people that where being really loud at late night hours , the walls are pretty thin so you don’t have much privacy and as I walked into my room it had a funky smell and our shower head was loose and the water was barely coming out! This place I would not come back too, the only thing nice about it was the front office which is being renovated and we couldn’t request another room because they were sold out some how !

Rotten uncomfortable bed. TVs were not in good working shape and discolored. The entire screen was green. I saw 8.0 rating on the room and it is def a 1.0. The staff weren’t terrible though and did refund the second night so we could stay in a fully functioning clean hotel.

Well, i thought it would be great but when i arrived, it looked like a Motel 6. Needed new paint and was under construction. When i got into the lobby, it was better. Beds were just ok. Room was clean and plenty of amenities. TV was Direct TV so that was good. Wifi worked, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Coffee maker, microwave and fridge. Very happy with all that. Is was quiet.. Close to sub sanwhich place across the street and a mexican market. Breakfast was good the first day but not that great Saturday morning as the omlet was dowgraded to a egg patty. Not sure if it was real egg. Better going out for a good breakfast but better than coffee and a muffin. I would return after renovation. Maybe in the summer.
