We had a pleasant stay at Spring Hill Suites. The staff there were very nice. The room was spacious and very clean. We were of walking distance to shops and only a 7 minute drive to downtown area. We also appreciated the complimentary breakfast buffet. If there’s an opportunity to go back to SLO we would definitely stay there again.

The reason it's 4 stars and not 5 is because the room was noisy. The bathroom ventilation fan which is outside the room is loud and on all the time. I had to sleep with ear plugs. The engineer explained there is no way to turn that off because that is main ventilation for the roll of rooms in that floor.

It is ridiculous to have to pay for parking. This is not a big city like LA or San Francisco where space and parking is limited. I will definitely think twice about staying here again.
