Overall, this place wasn't worth the money. We asked for a room with A/C, that A/C was broken. When asked to resolve they brought a standing fan, which did unfortunately not help. We had to move to another room without A/C, which was equally hot and stuffy. There are clearly rooms in need of updating and regular maintenance, which seemed overlooked. It isn't a large property, so the fact that the pool wasn't looked after well was disappointing since our whole reason for being there was to get a break from the heat with a day by the pool and a A/C cooled room for the night. Dining was also limited and food mediocre for the price. Breakfast was complementary. We didn't opt for the fruit that came with it because my stomach can't take the acid, so we ended up getting two entrees and sharing the pancakes, which we were charged for anyways. Three tiny pancakes. Hard pass on staying here again.

A must go for a great experience

This was just a perfect stay, flawless. The room was comfortable and had all that needed and wished with a very mexican style and a view to die for. The sunset while having a drink and some food was unforgettable. Used their spa servive and was magnificent. The whole staff is just top notch. 1000% recommended

Spectacular view. Beautiful rooms. Homemade meals were fantastic. Very responsive service. Rough road to reach the entrance. Beds are ok. Outdoor seating was old and dirty. Shortcomings are minor compared to the positives. I would stay here again.

The hotel is unique in every way. The views cannot be beat, the cuisine and staff are the best. It is so luxurious to be outside San Miguel if it is heavily trafficked in tourists.

My son and I stayed here last week,and we enjoyed it greatly. Adriana, the manager and all the staff were great. I did not want to stay in a hotel in the Centro because i had read that parking in SMA centro is nearly impossible, and the hotels in the centro charge you extra for parking. I chose View Hotel because it was not in the centro, the pictures looked great, and parking was included. Adriana provided us with all sorts of information and lit about what to do in SMA, and all the inside information about taxis, Uber or the bus we could take to go to the Centro or sight seeing. When i was inquiring about the taxis, since she was going out of the property, she offered to give us a ride on her way out, so she took us to a near shopping center to get us closer to the Centro. The property is isolated and very relaxing. Breakfast was great . I totally recommend this. The hotel has several amenities, like the cinema, the spa area, and a small terraza to enjoy the view of the reservoir in front of it. Great place to stay!!

The property was fairly new, very well maintained with a very courteous staff. If one doesn't want to be in the middle of town and wants a more tranquil stay, this is an excellent choice.

It was a nice hotel relatively new very clean on the outskirts of the city a little bit far from downtown but a very nice room and very comfortable I really recommend this place but you will need a vehicle

This hotel is not at downtown San Miguel de Allende. Is great for honeymooners, adults that need quiet and want to relax and enjoy the hotel amenities

Absolutely amazing. Maravilloso. My favorite!

I absolutely loved everything about my stay at the view boutique hotel. We had rented a car so stain out of the city was not a problem. Actually, after staying in the city previously this was much more preferable. The hotel itself is beautiful. We got to see every room and they gave us the option to choose which one. Every room was decorated so beautifully. It was hard to decide. We ended up staying in the room with a balcony viewing the water. It was so relaxing we loved every minute of it. The place is extremely clean and well-kept. The service is absolutely outstanding. Everyone was so helpful, so friendly, and went over and above in every way. Our breakfast was so delicious as well. We will definitely be coming back.

It’s not what it depicts

First of all it’s hard to find directions for this place . Secondly, as a foreigner going to this place is like going to a deserted area. There was no proper road , and it was stray and wild all around. It did not feel safe at all especially when you are in Mexico. I did not even enter this hotel , I asked my taxi driver to take me back to the city. I’ll never recommend it. It was horrible experience.

True Modern Mexican feel.

The hotel is outside of town & that gave us space & great views. The owner, Adrianna was so helpful with restaurants & places to see. Jose is the main staff person that took care of everything on the property. He spoke good English & was the man of all positions.

Quite an experience

This is a nice hotel but it is located in the middle of no where. At times we were the only people staying there. Nothing to do and too quiet for us. It advertises with a coffee shop, snack/deli, pool - there's nothing there. The breakfast which is complimentary is very good. The staff is very nice and helpful. We had massages and they were great. The language is difficult. Very little English is spoken or understood. One day we were told we would have a taxi driver that speaks English - he understood very little, he was to take us to a Winery - he had no clue what we were talking about - and we didn't see a winery. Very frustrating vacation.

AMAZING STAY!

It was our first time visiting San Miguel de Allende and we could not have asked for a better place to stay while we were there! Jose was wonderful from the minute we arrived to the minute we had to leave. He made sure we were totally taken care of - everything we might need during our stay. He helped us settle in, recommended an incredible place to eat, arranged for transportation each time we needed it, and just made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. We needed to change a few things with arrival and departure times and the staff was very responsive and kind in helping us get everything arranged and secured during our travel. We will *absolutely* be recommending this place to all of our friends and look forward to visiting the View Hotel Boutique again!
