Although the staff at Bahia was exceptionally polite and accommodating, our check-in experience was quite disappointing. The front desk was notably disorganized, leading to confusion and rising tempers among guests awaiting their rooms.
On a positive note, the food was excellent, and the pool area appeared well-maintained and inviting. However, the room itself left much to be desired. While clean, the furnishings were dated, the bathtub was noticeably stained, and the overall décor reflected considerable wear and age.
The ocean water was murky and teeming with jellyfish, creating an unexpected hazard. Unfortunately, my child was stung twice, and my wife suffered a sting as well.
After three days into our stay, I began noticing small, clustered bites on my skin. Initially, I assumed they were mosquito bites. However, upon researching the pattern and appearance of the marks, they closely resembled bedbug bites. I have since scheduled an appointment with my dermatologist to have the bites properly assessed.
