Overall great place, a few areas for improvement
Overall, this was a great house for a family vacation! In person, the house looks better than it does in the pictures. The beach front location is great and there are a few restaurants within walking distance. It is a bit of a hike to get into town - about a 30-minute bumpy golf cart ride. Definitely a good fit for a low-key vacation. The staff was generally lovely ad helpful and the area is beautiful.
There are a few areas for improvement. First being that the bed in the primary suite was not comfortable. My fiancée and I both started to have back pain by the end of the trip. Second, the other houses on property were having work done, which resulted in loud noises throughout our stay. I realize this is often unavoidable, but hearing workers yelling across the property and several hours of power sanding in the house next door wasn't relaxing. Finally, I had hoped that the concierge would have been a little more proactive in helping us finalize details such as airport pick up, excursions, and meals. I initiated all of that and was then instructed to reach out to each person individually. Having the concierge coordinate those would have been more relaxing. The check out process was not great, as we were rushed out of the house the morning of our departure. I understand they had other guests coming in, but the check out / check in time should correctly account for that. Staff lingered in the house starting 30 minutes prior to check out and we were ushered out 15 minutes early.
