Noisy and Pictures are Deceiving
NOISY, NOISY, NOISY. The existing reviews are not honest about the noise levels. Location is wonderful but the street noise is awful from 8AM until 2 AM and you need the windows open because there is no AC. Motorcycles scream up and down the street. It can get very warm in the late afternoon when the ocean breezes die down. If the wind blows then the temperatures are comfortable. Everyone felt wiped out in the morning after poor sleep.This property looks much better in pictures than in person. Workmanship is old and poor quality. The property needs a refreshing coat of paint, new caulk in the bathrooms and a deep cleaning. The layout is odd as the 2nd bath is in the back of the kitchen. And neither bathrooms have exhaust fans. You feel the difference between a corporate rental and an owner operated property.On a positive note, everything functioned. Nothing was broken. Beds were comfortable. The property managers were always responsive and allowed us to pick up the keys slightly early while we were walking through town waiting to check in. It is a 15-20 minute walk from the office to the property. Please note that there is no parking. It is conveniently located nearby but expensive.
