From welcoming and helpful reception,to great room, to scrumptious breakfast, this is an excellent property. The icing on the cake is the incredible staff. A great place to use as a base. Highly recommend.

We stayed in Room Mate Gorka in San Sebastian for two nights and had a great time. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with a large bed and a cosy sofa. The bathroom was modern, featuring a rain shower, though it’s worth noting that the room we stayed in didn’t have a full door to the bathroom, and the toilet door was more like a saloon door. If privacy is a priority, this might be something to consider. The hotel’s location was fantastic - just a 5-minute walk to the Old Town, the beach, and the shops. It’s the perfect base for exploring the city. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and every receptionist we met was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We chose not to opt for breakfast, as there were so many incredible foodie spots right outside the hotel. We had a car with us during our stay. While the hotel doesn’t have on-site parking, they have an agreement with a secure car park about a 10-minute walk away, offering discounted rates that you can conveniently pay at check-out. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return!

La localización del hotel es excelente. Si no tienes problemas de movilidad, puedes ir a pie a la estación del tren, del autobús, a la playa La Concha y lo mejor de todo es que está a sólo unos cuantos minutos de los bares para comer los mejores Pintxos de tu vida. Todo muy limpio y actualizado. Desde que entras a los pasillos para llegar a la habitacio, huele muy agradable. Estuvimos cuatro días y nos gustó mucho. Cuando regresemos a Donosti, definitivamente nos hospedaremos aquí.

The hotel is very well located in San Sebastián. Walkable distance from the bus station, the old town and the sights. It is clean, the staff polite and the room comfortable. Disappointingly, the hotel room was lacking in basic amenities: slippers, body cotton buds, tissues. On asking we were provided with slippers, but it seems that the remainder of the items are not readily provided by this hotel.

We loved our stay but as a newly engaged couple (my fiancé proposed in the room on our first night at this hotel) we struggled with the open plan bathroom and bedroom. Otherwise, can't fault this cosy hotel and would highly recommend it for its location, cleaningness and comfort.

Our room was not a good one. No window and really dark. Bathroom was ok. We didn’t use any facilities at the hotel. Not sure if they have it. Breakfast was ok as well. Travel on a budget felt like it. Nuria from the front desk was super nice, and when trying to book a day trip to Bilbao, She was VERY helpful.! But the location is excellent very close to everything you want to see in San Sebastian.

Great Stay

Our room was a very nice size, great bathroom, and a sweet little balcony. The hotel is across the street from a beautiful square that was decorated for Christmas and was a quick walk to the Casco Viejo. The service was a delight. No complaints. Nice hotel bar.

Kind staff and clean room. The hotel is located next to the famous pintxos street. It is also very close to the beach. You will get some discount from the bar next to hotel. Our stay was wonderful and we will definitely come back.
