Do not stay at this hotel! It is so old and smells terrible. Everything is very dated and unpleasant. Furthermore, the air conditioning simply does not work. I spent the day out, and when I returned, the room felt like a sauna. I had bought some chocolates, and they were all completely melted. When we went to the front desk to complain, we were informed that the system was designed that way—that it merely "pulled in" outside air—and since it had been a very hot day, the room was hot as a result. They suggested that we open the balcony door and sleep with it open. They even claimed that the temperature is uniform throughout the entire hotel and that, consequently, they couldn't adjust it because other guests might complain! Completely absurd and unacceptable. I had to leave in the middle of the night—my daughter and I—to find another place to stay. Bear in mind that this town is located in the absolute middle of nowhere, and by 8 PM, nothing is open—not even a pharmacy or a grocery store. I had to drive three hours back to Rome just to find a hotel. And to top it all off, they refused to give me any refund whatsoever for my terrible experience.
