As a hub between Silvretta and Verwall, recreational sports are very important in Sankt Gallenkirch-Gortipohl. Both places offer direct access to the Silvretta-Montafon ski area with 140 kilometers of slopes. The Valisera, Grasjoch, and Garfrescha feeder lifts quickly transport winter sports enthusiasts to the mountains of Montafon.

In the summer, many hiking trails lead from the village center to beautiful viewpoints. Sankt Gallenkirch is also the starting point for daily guided mountain bike and e-bike tours of the BergePLUS program by Montafon Tourism.
