The hotel is great. Good buffet breakfast, but could do with more vegan options. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is good and the water taxi to San Antonio is right there. The parking for guests is expensive though, €16 per day which is almost the same as the daily cost to rent a car, I think guests should have a reduced rate. There was not complimentary water in the room each day, which is something I've come to expect in hotels. The coffee mugs in the room weren't washed once in the time we were there.

Breakfast was great and we loved the rooftop pool, the downstairs pool got rowdy on weekends and the lifeguard had his work cut out with some bad guests. The pool entertainment was great as was the evening dinner, we had halfboard and made use of this a couple of nights. We had someone elses laundry (male shirt) put in our room and charged to our room, we went to reception to try and get the shirt back to its rightful owner, we waited 20 minutes as reception was very busy and nearly missed our plans. No apology and then on check out this was still charged and we had to dispute, poor service. When we checked in we asked the lovely receptionist who gave us early check in, when we could order lunch as we were very hungry she told us we still has time to get some food from the breakfast buffet, which we thought was good of them as we expected to pay for lunch, we then went to the buffet area to be rudely refused by a female host, as i say we wasnt expecting this we were happy to pay but were treated like scoundrels, again another poor service that let our stay down. We really enjoyed ourselves and the hotel is impressive but we wouldnt stay here again unfortunately.

The hotel was very clean and beautifully designed. The only problem is you have to take a taxi to San Antonio where the restaurants are and nightlife. Overall very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Excellent hotel, a fantastic location far enough away from the hustle of San Antonio to avoid any noise and other issues, but close enough to still see the other side of the bay, cafe mambo, cafe del mar, es paradis, eden, yet simple to get to by sea taxi (10mins) from outside the hotel. It was an amazing place, and a luxurious experience with great service and amenities. Definitely get to the roof top bar for sunset drinks! We will definitely be back.

Fantastic stay!

Fantastic stay! The rooms were quiet and the location was far enough removed to be quieter but close enough for restaurants and easy cabs. The service was great as well as the food. Definitely loved the free breakfast! Would certainly stay here again.

(Continued) (check other review) He instantly calls me a liar and said they would pull the tapes. I get to the front desk and the guest relations employee comes out and tell me she doesn’t feel he was aggressive after I share how I was treated because she knows him and his partner. I wanted to love this resort because I heard the great things about it. The way they treat Black Americans is sickening. I’m honestly so disgusted with the treatment with this hotel. I spent way too much money to be treated so poorly. No apologies. No compensation! Nothing. Just a horrible experience. On 05/18 the customer service relations sent over a an empty QR code stating it was something for the troubles we were having with the hotel. However we couldn’t do anything with it since it was empty and the employees had no clue how to use it. Just a Mess. Thanks for ruining my birthday trip. One I would never forget.

This hotel is fantastic, the staff were very welcoming upon arrival and throughout our stay they were very attentive and helpful. The rooms were fantastic and had great views. The food was lovely from both the buffet restaurant and the rooftop bar/restaurant. We spent most of our time relaxing by one of the many pools at the hotel, the loungers were very comfortable and combined with the music the vibe was great. The area around the hotel was pleasant but average, with not a huge amount going on, but it had all the basic amenities we needed, in the peak of summer I can imagine the local area would be much busier, with more going on. Overall, very pleased with our short weekend break at this hotel and I would definitely return.

To management, My stay was beyond my expectations, from the reception team to the wonderful friendly housekeeping staff, the breakfast chef that cooks the omelettes, to the bartenders up in the rooftop. Thank you Amare Hotel for my great stay in addition I want to thank LEDIBA for always keeping my room in order and to PAOLA for being so friendly at all times and to management for calling my room to check if my stay was going well.
