The check-in process was awful! Never been to a place this disorganized. No information given regarding dinner reservations, didn't get a room key until 430!!! Not a good way to start my stay . Rooms were not in the best conditions. This place was so bad I didn't stay for my two days as planned. Would not recommend this place.

Loved the place and the food, amazing views and helpful staff. The checking process very different than what I have experienced before, not necessarily bad just different. Would definitely recommend staying here, its a very large resort but 3-4 nights should suffice to enjoy it and explore it fully.

The checkin process is horrible, they apparently don’t use the latest technology they write everything down with pencil and paper instead of using a computer. They still use physical keys instead of a card to open hotel room doors electronically. Dining plans should start when you arrive but even though we were the first to arrive all the good restaurants were booked, what? How is that possible because like I stated earlier there’s absolutely no way to do this online since this technology doesn’t exist at this hotel. They do have a website that eludes to them using technology but then has a page that redirects you to another page with message that you need to checkin or make any dining reservations in person. Checking in seems like we were all being processed to go jail or something, we were there a very long time waiting. We were then told to come back in an hour to get keys. Hotel does not have elevators so the elderly or disabled would need to stay on floor level but those rooms go quick and it was hard for us get this fixed even though we made reservations 3 months in advance with that note clearly stated in english and spanish. Towels were not white and very dingy. The buffet is just ok, most offerings are equivalent to a school lunch cafeteria menu you probably remember as a kid. Drinks are very watered down. The show they have in the evening is a bunch of bad jokes with so so music and dancing. Sorry for bad review just telling it like it is.

Total disappointment. Check in takes too long, and my room wasn't ready, that should be illegal. The cleaning staff was phenomenal, but lobby and restaurants staff have nasty attitudes, most of them rude. I didn't liked the dining choices , the food was cold and repetitive. I was hoping for this place to showcase the Salvadorean cuisine, like other countries. Instead, I was subjected to eat burgers and anything, but Salvadorean dishes.

Worst place I have stayed at in El Salvador! Dirty old rooms! Dirty buffet area! Dishes weren’t even wash good! It’s a hotel that has stayed back in time! It really needs upgrades. All included which the drinks are given in 4oz or 6 oz cups! By the way check in is at 3pm. We had to wait outside the gate until it was time . Than once in they take you to a big room filled with people trying to do check in. After all that they don’t even have rooms ready because they are being clean. Had to wait another 1 hour. Will never go back!

It's a beautiful property. The pool was great, my son had the best time! The service was very good! The only thing I didn't really like was that you had to make reservation all the time to eat at the buffet restaurant.

The rooms need to be updated. It feels like camping with an extra "bunk bed" in the room. No decorations in the rooms. They are Clean. Only one person at the desk could speak a small amount of English. I asked to have my room phone fixed for 3 days, it never happen. A friend could not get a lamp next to his bed to read. It is a beautiful setting.

The Royal DeCameron is a magnificent facility in a beautiful location, but the buildings are very tired and badly in need of an upgrade. But overall, the food and service were very good.

Me encantó la experiencia, las actividadedes, la comida bufet estuvo , me gustó encobtrar comida típica del Salvador, pero quizás incuir mas cosas del mar, mas variedad en pescados, camarones, etc. Mejorar la parte de las reservas en restaurantes a la carta. Ingresé a la aplicación a las 7:10 y ya sólo quedadan cupos en 2 restaurantes. Felicito al personal dan muy buena atención y siempre procuran que uno quede satisfecho.

The food was terrible and the service from the majority of the staff was horrible at the restaurant . They had no staff to service the pool area so you had to get out of the pool every time you wanted a drink. The club was like a sauna. Thete were no reservations available for other restaurants so we ate at the buffet almost every day. I will definitely not stay in this resort ever again……
