Beautiful hotel but still working out its "bugs." In-room phone inoperable so had to repeatedly go to the front desk for room service, parking valet, etc. Engineer unable to get the phone working. Confused waiters in the restaurant leaving us almost 30-minutes before twice asking for assistance. Plumbing in the shower roared like a freight train because of vibrations in the pipes. In-shower seat was separating from the wall. Details matter. The staff was overall very friendly and helpful. One thing I really resent are the "resort fees." These are $50 daily charges for...what? The pool and gym which most hotels provide without an extra charge? And the fees are taxed, too. Why not just build these fees into the room rate and not offend guests with this unpleasant and unfair add-on? It's not a matter of affording them—we certainly can—but it's a bad practice. That said we might consider another stay in the future. The location is wonderful! But, the performance could use some adjustments.

The aesthetic is very nice. It's the only five star spa in the area. You want to keep that in mind when booking as you will be charged for this feature. The staff was very polite, courteous, and professional to the guests, however not to each other. I pay attention to work culture dynamics. The food quality could be better. The spa is very nice, but the staff follows a choreography and clock when providing services. Over all for me 4/10.

The moment you pull into this hotel you feel luxurious. The staff is amazing from the time you get out of your car. Everyone was helpful and smiling.The room was awesome, we had a King room with a balcony view of the ocean. The pool is amazing with firepits and views of the beach.Our bartender at the pool was April, she was the best,gave us some tourists spots to see.We had dinner at the low tide bar,the food was amazing and the drinks were awesome,we loved talking with our bartenders and Dylan (double d) and Alicia were very attentive and friendly. We cant wait to go back to this resort. I am already planning my next trip.

The property itself is beautiful! The room was lovely and the whole aesthetic was very calm but cool. It’s right by the wharf so you have a short walk to the beach, the seals/sea lions, the arcade/boardwalk, and different restaurants and cafes. The bath/shower products smell great and the in-room waters, food, and fridge sodas were all complimentary! Staff were all very nice and the valets were super personable and on top of things. There were some small details that left us leaving at the end of our stay with a “meh, that was just ok” feeling. - our room had no “do not disturb” sign to use which led to… - room service came back to collect dishes at almost 9pm and knocked on our door when we were already asleep - room service was quick but we felt it was pretty mid quality. We skipped ordering breakfast to the room because dinner was lacking. - room service brought up our stuff with a couple plates covered but then a couple plates completely uncovered (just some concern with it traveling though the hotel unprotected and also losing heat) - paid for late check out in advance but they shut off our key so we couldn’t get back in our room then they couldn’t correct it so eventually had to send someone to let us in to grab our stuff For the price of the room, we just felt like those things should have been thought through/neutralized already.

Did the online pre-checkin and pre-registered my dogs with confirmation so the only thing I need to do is get the keys once we check-in on property. Arrived at the hotel and the front desk was not welcoming questioning us about bringing our dogs.
