Property was perfect for access to the start of the Santa Cruz Half-Marathon, just right outside our hotel. Parking was convenient but challenging if you had a large vehicle. Backing into parking space is best. Lighting was dim in bathroom for me. Prefer a little brighter. But nice room and bathroom. Staff was really friendly.

A great stat

Starting from the reception and ending with the checkout, the front desk crew was friendly, welcoming, and helpful with questions. The room was clean and comfortable and seemed to be recently remodeled. The location was excellent right across from the beach and adjacent to the boardwalk. Despite the excellent location, I never heard any extraneous sounds in my room. There was ample parking on the property for a fair fee I will definitely be returning.

The staff was friendly and the property was really clean. It was right across the street from the boardwalk and beach volleyball courts. There wasn't a refrigerator, but I should've checked on that before we made our reservation. The floors are laminate so there isn't a noise barrier between floors. There were kids staying above us, and they ran back and forth for at least 2 hours in the evening. Thankfully, they settled down around bedtime.

Perfect overnight stay!

I thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. They allowed for early check-in and let us park until we left the beach long after check-out. The staff was wonderful! I will go back again. I really enjoyed our stay!

The location was nice. When we checked in we were short a pillow and only had 1 bath towel when we went to the front desk to ask for additional they informed us the hotel was full and they could not give us additional. It was a tough stay with multiple people one towel and the floors were dirty our socks were very dark after walking on the floors.

No sleep if you have neighbors

The construction outside wasn't bad the floor above us you could hear everything including the family who let their kids start running at 6am until at least 10am every single day. So the place was nice but the walls are to thin if you want to sleep in.

Spring break getaway

The hotel is very nice. Location is amazing. The staff was friendly and we were able to get our room a little early. There was a mini fridge which is great. The coffee shop at the street level is amazing! Need to get more pastries but rhe coffee is great! We booked a partial ocean view but couldnt see the ocean due to construction. They shouldnt call them partial ocean view. Also be ready during the week for 730 wake up call by the construction team. The bed was comfortable but pillows were flat. We asked for extra and they sent us a few more. The smart TV didnt work, connected it to the internet but still no luck. You cant use HDMI as they dont allow you to access settings. Be ready for basic TV. Parking is tight and limited not sure what would happen if they were fully booked also of you have a large car you wont fit in the parking near the lobby. Overall is a good place to stay being so close to the boardwalk.

Pay for your stay in the Expedia App! If you do not, you will be charged a higher rate when you check out of the hotel. The Expedia app will not show your original rate once you are overcharged! This is the first time this has occurred using Expedia. Spoke to Jon who said, " I doubt it!" when I explained what occurred. He was rude, condescending and raised his voice. Terrible customer service. The lady who checked me it was great! Decent hotel, nothing special. Stay somewhere else, lots of options!
