Amazing views from throughout property! Clean room, well managed with excellent and responsive service. Great food with a dedicated and creative chef, a nice pool, and 10 min walk down a small trail to one of the most spectacular beaches, Playa Arena a 1KM beach that you can have almost to yourself, and help with arranging exciting activities like snorkeling tours, wildlife viewing, or waterfall hikes.

The food was very good including the free breakfast. The staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel itself is beautiful with giant comfy beds and clean showers. My only complaint: of you have celiac disease this isn't the place for you! I ordered eggs without toast and made it clear I was allergic to gluten. When it arrived with toast they said "oh right, sorry", took it away and then it came back without toast but with little flecks of toast in it from where they'd scraped it off. I didn't realize this until it's eaten most of it so I spent the day with a sore stomach.

Feels like a large home

This hotel reminded us of a large home we rented. As a group of friends/couples we rented 4 of the 9 rooms. We really enjoyed this as no one else had a room rented so it felt like our own private home with the staff to take care of us and a nice pool. I’m not sure if we would feel the same if all the rooms were booked. In that case the pool might feel small. With that said the way the hotel is designed has a feel of privacy. This hotel would not be good for someone with mobility issues.

We stayed in the Zipolite Suite and enjoyed it. The staff were nice and friendly and the meals in the restaurant were very good. Lounging at the pool for a day was a treat. It is a nice area, easy to access.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous, by far the most beautiful place we have ever stayed! The staff was all incredibly helpful and friendly, amazing morning breakfast and restaurant as well as fabulous little cocktail bar for poolside drinks. Will return again as SOON as we can!

The property at Casa Ceiba is breathtaking. The staff are warm friendly and consistantly, seek to make certain a guest has everything they need. They do this in a perfect balance, so they are never intrusive. The food is exceptional, we ate 3 nights out of 4 at the hotels restaurant

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Ceiba. It is located in a quiet, peaceful, gated community. The hotel is small with 10 large well-equipped rooms/suites. All the rooms have an ocean view and easy access to the large, clean pool. Each morning we were given a large plate of fruit, granola, yoghurt, and some sweet bread, with orange juice and coffee and tea and was included. The walk to the beach is about a 10 minute walk down a trail. The beach is safe for swimming and was beautiful. We rented a car and were able to safely park it very near the hotel in a safe spot. The staff at the hotel was the best! Their English was good and the service excellent. We will for sure come back again because we loved this place so much!

The property was beautiful. Tricky to get to the beach, highly recommend getting a day pass to enjoy the beach club at the hotel directly in front. We had a bit of a misunderstanding with our room, we booked a sea view with balcony, but given a ground floor room with a terrace right by the pool. That was considered a balcony room, so no concessions on that. There are some beautiful rooms, but not much privacy in the room by the pool. The fruit plate for breakfast was lovely, but other meals / drinks a hit or miss depending on the chef or bartender. We very much enjoyed our stay, but If there is anything Casa Ceiba could work on is consistency in meal quality, drinks, and service.

A Great experience

The hotel is excellent. The staff is incredible and could not be more helpful and pleasant. The hotel is a short taxi ride to the center of town and beaches. Will definitely stay here again next year.

We loved the location in a residential area, and the size of the property enabled us to feel like we were truly their guests, and were made to feel very welcome by all staff. The view was beautiful, with large relaxing patios off the rooms or in common areas to enjoy. The focus of the property on supporting local businesses through amenities and food was lovely. And we thoroughly enjoyed the dining options starting with a wonderful fresh fruit breakfast included. It is an ideal place for a relaxing break.
