This property has wonderful and helpful staff, that respond as best they can to your needs. The positives were kind staff and great location in Santa Cruz. Rooms are in need of upgrades and repair. I changed rooms due to dripping a/c. My biggest concern was the last 5 days I did not feel it was safe to use the pool due to its murky waters and floating/sinking unknown materials. I was told each day it would be cleaned, then told it was clean but they were missing a chemical. That was unacceptable to me. I would not return to this hotel, or recommend it.

The staff was rude and unpleasant. They wanted to charge me for an additional key for the room when I was allowed to have two. There was alot of noise in my aisle and the staff didn’t do anything. It’s located in a great location but the staff needs to get better.
