We recieved an expedia upgrade upon checki in. Everything went south from there. We checked into our room; the toilet screamed, not ehistled -- but literally shrieked everi minute or so for 30nseconds. I reported this right away. They said they would send someone to look into it. When we returned to our room later in the evening, the toilet was still screaming. We turned the water off to silence it. The next day i reported it again...... continued to listen and live with it, alternating of turning the water off. The 5th evening the screaming was unbearable.... we took a video of the noise and went back to the main desk and played it for the Manager . She sent a plumber within an hour --930 pm... Alas he changed out a few things and silence.... Every time we called the main desk -- we were greeted with: oh you have a free upgrade with expedia.... we were allotted 30 minutes extra on the late check out. The servering staff were all very pleasant, the food however was mediocure at best. Ala carte meals were very dissapointing. Food was dry,overcooked and tasteless. The hotel seems to be dated and slightly run down. In talking to fello travellers the consistent theme was 3-5 years ago it was way better. The beaches however were amazing. I would not return to this resort. I will however go bac to hualtuco

Too many people were saving beach cots at 6 AM and then not coming back until mid morning. Staff were great, grounds beautiful, room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning was unfortunately right over the bed and was really needed with very hot weather. Possible cause of a very bad chest infection that has been ongoing for 2 weeks. Not impressed with the Club as when we tried it on two different occasions the food was almost gone and the pickleball players were rather loud. Found the buffet offered the best selection of food but the service in the restaurants was excellent. Pools were great and the activity crew was full of enthusiasm. We had a problem with our toilet and within minutes a crew was there and had it repaired very quickly.

Staff was great and food was average main buffet needs to change types of food more often as was the same all week compared to other resorts that do minor changes daily to create some variety. Biggest downfall is the pools they need updated as all should wear water shoes if using them for long periods and could get cuts on feet.

Has a great gym and lots of fresh food. The beach and sea are beautiful. The staff are wonderful. People come back year after year. We have grown very fond of Las Brisa and the quiet, laid-back sunshine of Huatulco.

We did not know that this was an OLD hotel before, called CLUB MED. You can see a lot of old stuff from the old hotel. NO Elevators at all , lots of stairs, the air condition in the rooms are old and very noisy, only one speed for the fan, and AC unit. This needs to improve. The service staff, from checkin to bell boys are excellent. The staff is great, waiters, maids, drivers makes a very nice stay. Just fix the AC in the rooms, upgrade them!

Muy bonito el hotel. Al tener Gold, nos dieron una habitación superior a la que habíamos reservado y una entrada más temprano, pero creo que depende más de la disponibilidad (no parecía haber demasiada gente en el hotel. Habitación limpia, con aire acondicionado. La comida muy buena, variedad, tiene restaurantes para cena y de variedad. Bebidas llegan a la alberca o a la playa, excelentes meseros. El masaje en el Spa fue lo más recomendable, estuvo estupendo. Ya quiero regresar pronto.
