I booked this trip as a bday gift for my daughter, her brother and her mother. I was away on business so I couldn’t attend and that is fortunate for this staff. I am very disappointed for the feedback that I received from my wife. Seems the staff was incredibly negligent in making them feel welcome, although this was all inclusive, there often was not any more food for the children to go get what they wanted or let alone another plate, the drinks are outrageously priced along with everything else in the area, and the children themselves said they felt uncomfortable in the room as if the entire hotel had bad energy. I think they should take all inclusive out of their description because you might get one meal if you show up as they open. They really didn’t have enough food and it seems there were people who would grab six or seven plates at one time not considering others. The staff was not very friendly and very dismissive. Overall, the experience for my kids and my wife was terrible. The only good thing is the proximity to the beach.Drinks are not included as I thought they’d be. All these other reviews must be fake because this was not a good trip for my family and memorable for all the wrong reasons.

The hotel and the staff was horrible. It was not an all inclusive resort as advertised. The food they did off was deplorable! They had no butter, meat ok for coffee. They had a make shift bar that was ridiculous by the pool. Service was terrible. Would not recommend this hotel to your worst enemy!

The hotel was really comfortable. All-inclusive package was worth it. Food ( breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner and poolside drinks included). Food was delicious and great variety. The hotel is located in a great area. ( albeit, new construction happening adjacently). The beach is only a minute walk away. I would recommend and revisit this hotel for the value.

El equipo de recepción el restaurant las camareras de las habitación cómo Marina y el equipo de mantenimiento es la mejor divisa del Hotel Por otro lado es un hotel limpio y muy agradable. Solo me decepciono la falta de variedad en el menu para un hotel all Inclusive la administración tiene que apoyar mas al Team del restaurante ofreciendoles mejores opciones. También uno tenía que abrir termo por termo sin saber Que encontrar dentro Solo con escribir el nombre del plato dentro puede ser una opción. Solo por atención del Staff en general se puede volver a visitar.Recuerdo a Eliana y Kenia en recepción. A Luisita en el Restaurante. A Marina en las camareras y lo muchachos del Mantenimiento Pero cuando recuerdo las opciones de alimento lo pensaría mejor para mi próximo viaje a Santa Martha. -Hotel labeled as all inclusive but no restaurants, no comcierge, no telephones in the room (I stayed at the executive suite), no live shows at night apart from a DJ who came Saturday night. They charged me Colombian taxes in spite of being an American citizen. They have a lot of work before they can slightly resemble the all inclusive in Cancun and punta cana. There is a dreams Cartagena all inclusive in Colombia which is way better. This place has a buffet and calls itself all imcludive

Overall the hotel was good. I wish it was truly beach front but is less than 200 yards to get there and there is a section reserved for hotel guests to sit with chairs and a covering provided. I would come back if I ever found myself in Santa Marta again there was no single instance where I second guessed my decision to stay here. The food was excellent and the drink (when I ordered one) were good as well.

That hotel is misleading advertising; my parents had to pay for everything separately, and they should have included the taxes. I ended up paying an extra 135 dollars, and that shouldn't be the case. They should charge everything upfront. It's a hotel that doesn't even have phones in the rooms, and they had to go down from the 16th floor to get water because there wasn't even any in the rooms. Everything was horrible.

Alot of construction and far from downtown. Out side the hotel area does not look safe to walk dirty ,garbagecan hear construction while trying to relax at pool. The beach is not great black beach dark waters.

We had a family stay at Porto and had a good experience. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The beach is a 2 minite walk and the pool os quite large and great for both kids and adults. The only downside is that it’s not truly an all inclusive hotel. The food is included and some drinks. However, if you’re at the beach, which is off the property, there isn’t a bar. The pool has a bar, only during dedicated hours. We made it work, but it’s good to set that expectation if you are looking for an all inclusive experience.
