This 5 bedroom, 5.5 bath cozy, but spacious beach house is located in the private, gated community of Old Florida Beach, and is modeled after the famous 1882 New Canal Lighthouse on Lake Pontchartrain in southeastern Louisiana.

New Canal Lighthouse is perfect for larger families as it sleeps 14 comfortably, with a large kitchen that will seat 15 for dinner, and 2 separate, but adjacent living areas for watching movies or playing games. The newly renovated kitchen features a gas stove, granite counter tops, a commercial ice maker, and an oversized island with bar seating perfect for recruiting everyone in the family to participate in preparing dinner. Each of the 5 bedrooms features a king bed, and there are 2 sofa sleepers for the kids or an unexpected overnight guest.

The community of Old Florida Beach has a community pool, and a private beach access, and is also conveniently located near Gulf Place Town Center, only 1.1 miles west, for dining and shopping. Don’t forget to rent bikes for the family, and enjoy exploring the Timpoochee bike trail, and all the fun and funky beach communities. Old Florida Village is a 30A favorite.
