Santa Teresa di Gallura is the beating heart of the northern coast of Sardinia, a privileged 'window' to the enchanting panorama over the Strait of Bonifacio. Santa Teresa is the perfect destination to enjoy immaculate beaches, cultural sites and a starting point to easily reach different locations. Santa Teresa has a harbor that reaches the beautiful archipelago of La Maddalena and Corsica.
The clear waters of the area enchant visitors with a thousand shades, several times awarded with the 'Blue Flag'. The main beach of the village is Rena Bianca, but it is worth visiting the large and equipped La Marmorata, Cala Sambuco, Cala Balcaccia and Santa Reparata, with clear sea and rocky cliffs, perfect for diving. A few minutes drive you can reach Capo Testa, northern tip of the island, with its beaches of Rena di Levante and Ponente, two beautiful stretches of white sand surrounded by granite and Mediterranean scents. In the western part of the cape, stands out the show of Cala Grande - Valley of the Moon, symbol of Santa Teresa: between granite walls, shaped by nature, Hidden coves emerge. For lovers of archaeology and culture, a few kilometers from Santa Teresa you can visit the nuraghe of Lu Brandali and Sa Testa but also the most recent Tower of Longosardo.
Finally, you can’t miss the traditional food and wine in the many bars and restaurants and during the festivals. Some goat marinated in myrtle liqueur and some Gallura soup for a meat dinner, sea urchins, bottarga, mussels and oysters if you’d rather taste the local seafood. To accompany your meal, a good Vermentino di Gallura DOCG, and to end it, a delicious seada with honey and a glass of homemade myrtle liqueur.
The apartment can be reached from the port and airport of Olbia in 1 hour and 10 minutes by car while Porto Torres is 1 hour and 36 minutes.
