Cheap Hotels in São Bento

I stayed in a high-end executive suite at this hotel for 7 days, expecting a comfortable and relaxing experience while attending a friend’s wedding. Unfortunately, the stay turned into a complete disappointment. Throughout the entire week, we had no hot water in the shower—something that should be basic, especially for a hotel in this category. The AC unit was also leaking into the bedroom, which made the space uncomfortable and forced us to use towels to clean up the water. Speaking of towels, after using them to deal with the leak, housekeeping failed to replace them promptly. I had to request new towels three separate times, and they were still not provided in time, delaying me while I was trying to get ready for a wedding event. The hydromassage bathtub, one of the features that justified booking this suite, was completely non-functional. There was no water pressure and no hot water to fill it. When maintenance was contacted, they stated that the entire tubulation system needed to be replaced—meaning this issue was not new and clearly had not been addressed before our arrival. The explanation given by staff—that the room had not been inspected for days or even weeks prior to our stay—is simply unacceptable. It reflects a serious lack of maintenance and quality control, especially for what is marketed as a premium accommodation. O acesso a rua é por uma ladeira bem ingrime que com chuva nao dá pata subir com carro pequeno e cheio. E não aparece essa ladeira e/ou informação Foi bem estressante a chegada pois havia chovido. O café da manhã vai ate 09h:30m mas no 1• dia de um feriadao acabou o obo mexido e o único queijo disponivel. Bolo de chocolate acabou os 3 dias do feriadão. Café da manhã pode ser melhorado bastante sem maiores custos. Infra da pousada boa.

We had a very mixed experience at Own Búzios. While the staff was initially very kind and the location is excellent conveniently across from a grocery store and easy to get around the room and maintenance issues were disappointing. We were first checked into a room with a shared bathroom despite booking a Premium Double. Once rectified, the second room had a broken AC. We eventually landed in a third room that felt quite run-down with stained sheets. The garden was poorly maintained, with high weeds and even mushrooms growing on the porch. The main positives were the very comfortable bed, a nice pool area for a post-beach swim, and the friendly initial welcome. However, these were overshadowed by a lack of property maintenance and a repetitive breakfast that seemed recycled over our four-day stay. Another down side m was the checkout experience where we were presented with an open bar tab. It felt like they tried to charge us for our "complimentary" welcome drinks, and the staff seemed irritated when we disputed it. Next time, I’ll likely try one of the nearby pousadas instead.

Café da manhã ok, staff muito simpático, o ponto alto do hotel com certeza. O hotel fica um pouco distante da praia e de alguns pontos de interesse. Mas o ponto mais baixo pra mim foi a conservação do local, precisa de reparos, lençóis e fronhas encardidas, cheiro de mofo no quarto, corredores e cheiro estranho na água. Para apenas 1 noite, e como o objetivo não era lazer, foi ok, para uma hospedagem mais longa e com foco em lazer eu não ficaria novamente.

Apesar de, na nossa chegada, o ambiente não estar totalmente limpo, durante toda a estadia a limpeza foi impecável. A equipe merece destaque: todos são extremamente solícitos, educados e atenciosos. Em especial, o recepcionista Felipe, que se destacou pela prestatividade e cordialidade. Na praia, o atendimento do Carlos também foi excelente e digno de elogios. Como sugestão de melhoria, o espumante servido no café da manhã aos domingos poderia ser oferecido como uma taça de boas-vindas no momento do check-in. Além disso, a música ao vivo no restaurante seria melhor aproveitada pelos hóspedes se tivesse início por volta das 17h, em vez de encerrar nesse horário, já que muitos ainda estão na praia durante a tarde. Essa mudança provavelmente contribuiria para aumentar o consumo no restaurante.
