The area in which the hotel was in, did not have power. The hotel had a generator that only powered the general areas but not the rooms. The hotel advised to sleep in our rooms until electricity returned. Myself and my colleague opted for a nearby hotel with power. Hotel does not want to refund the 1 night we did not stay in their hotel because “it was outside of their control.” The only option given was to sleep in a room With power.

The hotel is in a very nice and safe area. Breakfast is good. The room is very small and dark but it was fine by me. On check-out I left my luggage to be picked up later. However it was handed to another customer who did not notice the bag (which had no resemblance to theirs). It was fixed within 30 minutes with my bag sourced but it was a scare.

Ho-hum

poor internet, fuzzy tv channels. Solid breakfast, late checkout. Disinterested staff at reception. Looks like a place that gets a lot of business during the week and loads up on 2nd string staff at the weekend.
