Carpet was stained, thread bare and old. Bathroom smelled moldy, toilet wand was moldy. Bed was very, very firm. Pillows were unusual. Rooms need renovation. Housekeeping was attentive. Convenient to JR train station and Metro.

It is an old hotel but very clean. Room very spacious. Breakfast is excellent lots of variety. Close to small restaurants and Daimaru Department Store. Good location. Unfortunately for 5* Hotel the staff do not speak English well. It is hard to ask questions.

Have stayed here many times now and it continues to be a great old hotel. Rooms could use a renovation but they are still very clean and comfortable. Location and amenities are top notch.

Excellent service and location. It's walking distance to Sapporo station and the hotel is connected to underground tunnel which is very convenient on rainy days. Breakfast is good. The hotel is not new but very well maintained, room is spacious which is rare in Japan. Staff are so friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who visit Sapporo

I had an excellent stay at Sapporo Grand. Staff was outstanding and best part of the experience. Facility was in very good condition and there are nice dining and snacking options onsite. Only slight negative is that my room was a little bit dated. But everything g worked and was very clean.

Very quick and kind service when checked in. They showed us to our rooms and offered to help with our bags. Showed us where the emergency exits were as well and made themselves very accessible if we needed anything. Location was perfect and you could even access the subway from the basement level or shop without even going outside. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The room and bathroom were a good size and clean. Great hotel and experience staying with them.

Sapporo Grand is still Grand

Absolutely amazing stay in premier deluxe king bed room on 14th floor. Both buffet and sit down Japanese set breakfast were delicious! Also enjoyed the 1934 BAR 2.5 hour drink and small plate with jazz music. Warm and helpful hospitality. The location is so convenient too! Between Sapporo Station and Odori Park.

Excellent location for underground station, airport limo bus and Sapporo train station. Spacious room and awesome service! No coin operated laundry but they got laundry services. Will stay here again!
