Filthy

The room was not clean I had to go to Walmart and buy blankets and pillows , the toilet was plugged the shower had mold the curtain was filthy!

Yuck

Filthy first off. Girl at there front desk was very kind but the room was just gross. Now I realize it was a budget room but there is no need for such grossness. It’s in a nice part of town close to everything so I t thought it’d be ok. When we were leaving the cops were searching a car in the lot. Seedy.

Expedia customer service is the worst! This place is not made for humans. The place is very old not clean at all and should be closed down! We arrived to find that the place is not even clean! We canceled right away and called Expedia to let them know that this is the situation. Just to be told. We are charging you over $100 for cancellation. On top of that the customer service representative told me it’s not us it’s them! I was standing in the reception area and they showed me that it is in fact Expedia charging!! Terrible! Will never deal with Expedia again! And please don’t go to this place if you care about yourself a bit.

Very dissatisfied about the unsafe condition of our room. The room seemed clean when we first got there, when leaving I asked my kids(8 &9) to check under the bed to make sure nothing fell. My daughter found chocolate and an open pocket knife under the bed.

Once upon a time

Great little motel, back your car up to your room. Sadly, these are going by the wayside. This one has been bought by Marriot, and I’m sure the rooms( and the prices) will get an upgrade. Heck, it wasn’t cheap since we are here Travers week. But it is in the middle of everything!

We loved it!

Charming and retro property. Service was top notch and bed was very comfortable. Stayed for the night to attend the track…my daughter and I decided this will be where we stay every year to come. Close to downtown and Congress Park!

We like it there. The staff was really friendly. Easy to find and was not to far from SPAC. Rooms were clean. If we go to SPAC again we want to stay there.

Starting with the front door - in bad condition, looked like it could be easily kicked in. The carpeting is suspect - do not remove your shoes. The walls had cracks in them. The tub was in terrible condition and had black spots in the grout - mold? The entire room had that mildew smell that old places have. The people working there were very nice but whoever owns this place is doing NOTHING to maintain it. Silly me expecting a decent room for $300(!) a night. The owner should be ashamed.

This old school motel was quite comfortable, pleasant and helpful staff, excellent location, nice pool , a pleasant place to stay. Bathroom needs updating but was clean.
