Its 3000m² garden with trees and flowers with heated swimming pool of 10x5 m in service from April 15 to October 30, with solar shower and pool house equipped for lazing around, for a relaxing holiday. A table tennis table and a table football are available for your activities.

Mallegale Haute family stay

We stayed 8 nights at Mallegale Haute as a family of four with two adults and a ten and one year old. Upon arrival we were met by the friendly Anna who showed and explained everything to us clearly and made us feel very welcome. Her English is superb too (even if she doesn’t think so). We were blown away by the beauty of the accommodation especially the grounds of the property. There’s a massive heated pool, games area and even a play area for smaller kids with a sandbox and swings. Plenty of sun loungers, a bbq and beautiful outdoor eating area top off the outdoor space. Inside there is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need and Anna kindly welcomed us with some delicious local goodies including wine, bread, jam, fois grois as well as house eggs. There is also a wonderful laundry area with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities which we really appreciated and used frequently. The house is clean with lovely wooden shutters on all of the doors and windows that can make for a nice sleep in. We also noticed that no matter how hot it got outside the house always stayed cool. The pool is maintained by Anna’s husband who came on the mornings discreetly. We never heard or saw him and on our first morning found fresh croissants and bread waiting for us on our doorstep which was just so sweet of them. The house’s location is magnificent. Sarlat town centre is a few minute drive or a few more minutes walk. There is a casino supermarket pretty much at the end of the road where you can find anything you may wish to cook in the well equipped kitchen and there are several other supermarkets around town, we also visited the Lidl. The town centre is just gorgeous with beautiful old architecture and lots of alfresco dining and retail opportunities. The surroundings are also wonderful with the river offering water activities, beautiful castles to explore and interesting caves just to name a few things. Overall as a family we had the best experience so far of our holidays. We didn’t want to leave and hope one day we can return. Anna’s little gift for our boys on departure just topped off our stay completely. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and area, especially for families, but really for anyone. Thank you Anna 😊

Presque parfait

Demeure très bien située pour le tourisme. L'ensemble des installations disponibles est de très bonne qualité. Les propriétaires, très sympathiques et toujours disponibles ont vraiment pensé à tout. Outre la piscine, il y a babyfoot, table de ping pong, balançoires, petites tables pour les enfants, etc... Le jardin est de toute beauté. Une seule petite réserve, nous aurions apprécié quelques degrés de plus dans la piscine.
