Staff were helpful. Room was very small. I stayed February 7th, the 6th floor has no central air. At 6pm the room was at 25 degrees with the fan on, at 11pm it was at 28 degrees. They brought up an oscillating fan, it cooled the room down to 26… it was too hot to sleep.

The room was unbearably hot—27.5 °C when we checked in—and there was no way to cool it down. Turning down off the heat did not work and setting the thermostat to “cool” actually made the room hotter. Opening a window wasn’t an option because of the road noise. The decision to put a window in the shower wall facing directly into the sleeping area is baffling. There’s essentially no privacy while showering, and turning on the bathroom light at night blasts the sleeping area with light and wakes anyone trying to sleep. Terrible design choice.

First i was denied entry to the hotel and laughed out by 2 women working the front desk because i said i didnt have a credit card and they laughed to themselves as i left. I sign into my room at 1230am and find it hasnt been cleaned at all from whoever was in it last. Hair all over the bathroom furniture not where it belongs. For one of the most expensive hotels in the city youd expect at least your room to be clean but no. Disgusting attitudes from your female desk manager and her coworker and no room service at any point. A terrible experience all around and glad to say i wont make the mistake of booking with this hole again

First of all, they were good by giving us an early check in. The service at the bar was slow because of renovations they told us. The thermostat in our room wasn’t working properly. By 2:00 in the morning the temperature in the room was 29 degrees Celsius. We tried turning the thermostat down but the register kept blowing hot air. We finally turned it right off and opened the window. Then there was a problem with the fire alarm that kept going off. Started at 5:30 am until 8:30 am. When I told the receptionist about the thermostat not working she told me I should have called down and asked for a fan. Our breakfast was very mediocre. Also an FYI they give people a $8 discount when you book with the hotel directly. Needless to say we didn’t get the discount.
