Don’t bother
You can’t fault the location and you know when you book that there’s a pub downstairs but the noise since Saturday has been appalling! When we arrived the place wasn’t clean so I called Andy and he arranged for a cleaner to come round and get what they missed but as the week went on we found more and more things wrong! The ovens fan didn’t work so it burnt our dinner on the first night, the small bedrooms window wouldn’t close so we had to leave it open also the small one in the kitchen wouldn’t open at all. We didn’t get much sleep at all it wasn’t a comfortable place to hang out in because you were competing with the extractor fan from the pub below, they had deliveries between 6-8 almost every morning and if it wasn’t that then we heard the window cleaners at 6. We couldn’t close the windows because it was so muggy so we could hear everything that was going on, they started drilling downstairs at 9am without even bothering to let us know, the people next door where banging on our door as they thought it was us! The apartment constantly smelt of fish and we tried to find where it was coming from and no it wasn’t from downstairs because it was even there when they didn’t serve food, all in all unless you’re a really heavy sleeper, don’t mind black mold/ rundown accommodation, deaf or can take hearing aids out then this is the place for you. We knew it wasn’t a good start when I had to ring them up to ask the code to get in as they didn’t attach the info in the first email
