As far as all inclusive go - Hard Rock has my vote. Service was fantastic. Food was probably the best you could ever get for all inclusive. Excellent time with family and friends. Would definitely be back!

Would expect better more expensive food items at this price point in the restaurants. Food items on the menu were not always available. Beach was nice. You could not a lounge by any of the pools unless you were a Hard Rock club member.

The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with a fantastic view. The bed was super-comfortable. The meals were all excellent and there was lots of variety. Reservations weren’t required at the restaurants and we never had to wait to get in. The entertainment was spectacular, especially the circus show (although they could dial the volume down a notch from ear-splitting to just loud). We enjoyed the activities such as sea kayaking, volleyball, and pool exercise. The beach is uncrowded, beautiful with calm water, and you can take long walks, unlike many places in PV. We also took advantage of the spa and had great massages at a reasonable price. But the best part was the super-friendly, attentive, and competent staff. Although they were working hard, they seemed to be having so much fun that it was almost like they were fellow vacationers. Unfortunately, I have forgotten many of their names, but Kevin and Antonio on the activities staff, anf Henri on the waitstaff of the Mexican restaurant stand out. My only complaint was the loud music that played throughout the resort, often late into the night. This was especially true the first few days we were there. I guess it’s to be expected at a Hard Rock Hotel, but at times when we wanted to just enjoy the calm beach or relax and read by the pool it was distracting. Later in the week it wasn’t as much of a problem — I’m not sure if we just got used to it or it just varies throughout the week. All in all, we had a great time.

We had a beautiful view of the ocean. All of the staff were above average. Thankyou Gregorio for your excellent beach service! Hotel is older now but the location is excellent. Paradise Plaza Mall - 5 minute walk Flea Market across the street on Tuesdays Massage on the beach - 1 minute walk Shopping hut on the beach - 1 minute Walking on the beach goes on forever. Food good. Overall 4.3/5

The resort is a bit dated but makes up for it by its amazing staff who provide excellent service in every area of the resort. The crew at the front are ready to welcome you and if you need a taxi they are on it so fast its great! The housekeeping staff are meticulous and keep every area, especially the rooms, so clean. The staff at the restaurants are fantastic and the chefs are outstanding. We did 2 nights at Cucina, Panema and Zen; Cucina and Panema were just amazing each time. We had issues at Zen 1/2 nights but would suggest going for the first seating as it seemed with the later seating the service and food suffered a bit due to business. We only had one night at Frida but only because we had to choose haha; it was still so good and highly recommend the guac ! Out of 8 days we only had one bad meal! Dont miss the poolside burgers, as we did for most of the week only to discover how bomb they were on the last day lol!! The pool servers were amazing and so friendly, ensuring you are always well hydrated. We just loved our usual server he was amazing!! The only thing I would say is the pool is heated which is really great, especially for littles, but it was a little too hot. It would be nice to turn down the temperature just a tad or have one pool thats cooler. My last all-inclusive was a Royalton in DR and it was a lot more expensive and absolutely terrible so thank you Hard Rock Vallarta for showing what an awesome all inclusive trip really is!! Faith restored

Constant pressure to book future stays. From restricted pool side chairs to phone calls in the room. Promoting extra features if we enrolled and joined a sales pitch meeting. Just wanted to be alone and enjoy ourselves. For these reasons we will never book again to a Hard Rock property again. Just not for us.

Friendly staff who have been very welcoming and thoughtful during our stay here. We appreciate the services that everyone provided. I had the best time at the spa during my massage and hydrotherapy session. That was a five star experience. Regarding drinks and food selection, I thought it was average as with most all inclusive resort, so that’s why I didn’t give it a five star across the board. But overall, my family and I have enjoyed our time here very much.

The property is great. The areas to improve are primarily the kids club (paperwork was tedious and i filled out the same form 4 times and the staff was not good and english seemed like a challenge for them). The Italian restaurant's service was also very poor compared to Frida. The aztec show could use someone who explains whats going on like the top Hawaiian laui's (so many people walked out).
