The Star Maiden is one of our largest rooms. It is Located in the Main Highlands Lodge sunrise side of the Lodge and has a king bed with a small sitting and dressing area along with a windowed bath with tub and shower and a private balcony. All Highlands Lodge rooms have access to the Sunset gathering room and Library with Fireplace.
Located just a few miles from Highlands NC at an elevation of 4,000' sits Fire Mountain where natural beauty abounds.
At Fire Mountain you will find cool temperatures with lush woodlands, deep gorges, and clean mountain air. Meander along trails with moss-covered rocks to cascading streams and waterfalls with awe-inspiring long-range mountain views.
