Thinking about putting the day-to-day grind on hold and taking a trip to Abruzzo? You will find a small number of hotels close by.

Although Scanno isn't renowned as Abruzzo's hotel capital, it does feature the Hotel Mille Pini, which is relatively close to the heart of town.

70 kilometres to the north of Scanno you will find Pescara, where you can find the Provincial Nature Reserve Pineta Dannunziana and Piazza della Rinascita.
