Scheidegg isn't exactly the hotel capital of Allgaeu. It does, however, feature the Hotel Post, which is just 3-kilometre from the city centre.

The Hotel Bad Schachen is situated 14 kilometres from the centre of Scheidegg. Another hotel is the Hotel Weisses Kreuz, which is located 11 kilometres away. Two more hotel options in the Scheidegg area include the Hotel Bayerischer Hof and the Seehotel Am Kaiserstrand.

After sampling the delights of Scheidegg, schedule a little time to visit the other attractions in the Bavaria area. Bavaria is marked by forests, rivers and streams. Popular Bavaria tourist destinations include the castles. Or join the locals snowboarding, skiing and cross-country skiing while you're here.

It is well known that we Aussies are pretty chilled, so consider extending your stay and check out the Fuessen Music Hall and Lech Fall, in Fuessen, 60 kilometres to the east of Scheidegg.
