Very reasonable cost provided a comfortable stay with a feel of Germany of many decades ago, but with modern conveniences. Breakfast was wonderful and the evening meal we enjoyed there was even better.

everything about the hotel was super. the food was really excellent. we took the set menu option but wanted soup instead of salad. and they were great about it and did not even charge extra. Breakfast was really good lots to choose from. the staff went out of their way to help us. I left my phone behind and they were good about it and arranged to send it back. We would be delighted if they would have us back The bed was really comfortable we have a special car and parking was important to us good parking on site

Pequeno almoço e jantar saborosos e em quantidade muito satisfatória. Havendo nova viagem para esta zona, será um hotel a ter sempre em conta.

Very good hotel in a quiet area away from the crowds on the mountains. It snowed when we arrived. It was beautiful in the morning. Front desk lady was very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Great hotel for a one night stay.

Booked two rooms at the last minute. Arrived after 8pm, hungry...staff allowed us to order dinner through the onsite restaurant. It was the most expensive dinner we had had thus far during our trip and we only ordered 2 beers, 2 sodas, 2 salads, a dessert and chicken fingers...but we didn't complain b/c we were hungry. There were some language barriers with the staff but overall no complaints. We didn't get a chance to explore the town. Parking was onsite and free and there was a breakfast included.

Great place for the value, close to attractions, great amenities. The restaurant was very good, very competitive pricing, great breakfast. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My only two issues were that when I checked in, I was not given the Wifi password information and it was not posted anywhere in the room. The other was the lack of parking on the premises. We checked in and left, by the time we got back, the reception desk was closed and there was no more parking. With no one available to assist me with the Wifi information or parking issue. I still managed to squeeze into a spot in front of the entry. However, some older gentleman which I had seen earlier behind the reception desk when I checked out, still felt the need to tell me something in a rude way about where I ended up parking.

Quite small town

A quite place in a small town. The beds are soft and sleepworthy. Hiking trails abound from this town. Famous Triberg is only a few miles away. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice Hotel Overall

The room was clean and there is a good variety of the usual for breakfast (lunchmeats, cheeses, boiled eggs, bread, cereal, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes). We also ate dinner here one night and it was very good, and the waiter who spoke English was friendly. It was a little confusing checking in. Apparently, the entrance on the right side of the building is for the restaurant and the left side is for the guesthouse. Parking was very limited, and I had to run inside one time while my husband was in the car to let them know there were no parking spots left. They let us know we could park across the street – however there was no street parking left either, so we parked in front of a van parked in a chained off driveway that had 4 flat tires and hoped for the best. They were painting the front of the building so there was scaffolding in front of our balcony blocking our view, so we didn’t really sit outside at all. View from the room is normal – nothing particularly special. It’s in a good location – just a short drive to Triberg and the waterfalls. Shower is your typical very small European shower. Wifi worked good.
