Please read why... I really feel bad about giving this location 3 stars because its truly a good value, great location, and an AMAZING view. A 5 star stay, in my mind, is one where I am really "WOWed" by the property and amenities, 4 is Great, and 3 is good enough. Property is very conveniently located, has a great view, was priced fairly, and was a comfortable stay, but it could use a few things to bring it up to a 4 star stay. Again, it was a comfortable home base and a good value! The driveway was not an issue for us at all in our mid sized SUV. If low clearance, just cut the wheel to approach/leave at an angle at the bottom of driveway.The home does not allow pets, but when we arrived there was a very strong cat odor. (I love cats, please don't be upset with the cat). We opened all the windows for a few hours and I placed dryer sheets in each room to mask the smell, which worked really well and I didn't notice the smell again until it was time to leave and we removed all the dryer sheets.While the house was tidy, and "clean enough" to be comfortable, I'd compare it to a hotel stay in a high - traffic hotel. The bedding and surfaces are clean, but it really needs a deep cleaning. The blinds were dirty, there was grime on the doors, the bedding had a big stain (but it was clean), etc. The fireplace is not usable, while not a big deal... I was excited to see the place had a fireplace in the pics. The pots/pans were pretty beat up. Could use a few upgrades.
